Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions, considering the needs of patient populations.
  • Delegate nursing care activities and provide supervision, establishing a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
  • Follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Completion and maintenance of BLS, ACLS & PALS (or ENPC), and NIHSS certifications.
  • Successful completion of all competencies as identified on the departmental nurse competency grid.
