Qualifications and Responsibilities
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associate or Bachelor of Nursing degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Home LTC (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist your supervisor in maintaining excellent resident care
- Carry out nursing techniques to ensure resident comfort and well-being
- Collaborate with physicians during treatments and examinations
- Administer prescribed medications and injections
- Monitor vital signs and report deviations to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate medical records for residents
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service programs
- Foster a positive and reassuring atmosphere for residents
