Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding guest service consistently.
  • Coordinate with various departments regarding VIP guests and their specific requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all amenities and special events at Zia Park.
  • Promote and sell hotel programs, special rates, and upgrades as appropriate.
  • Manage house bank and process checks and cash in accordance with company policies.
  • Adhere to established procedures for posting charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
  • Be familiar with emergency protocols and company policies.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to handle moderate physical tasks.
  • Process reservations accurately in the computer system.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding room rates, facilities, and locations.
  • Collaborate with the Hotel Sales Manager on bookings.
  • Stay updated on the phone system functionalities.
  • Address special guest requests professionally.
  • Complete assigned projects and documentation as per specifications.
  • Provide information about hotel services, guest registration, and local attractions.
  • Welcome, register, and assign rooms to guests.
  • Restock items in the retail shop and assist with sales.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workstation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred six months of relevant experience or training; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word).
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Capability to identify problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs.
