Child Placement Specialist

The Licensing & Placement Specialist position at KVC Health Systems provides training to resource homes, supports resource parents, and works as part of the family support team. This role involves recruiting homes when applicable to the contract being worked on, following policies, rules, and regulations on licensing standards, and providing case management services to children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide training and support to resource homes and resource parents
- Recruit homes for contracts as needed
- Follow policies, rules, and regulations on licensing standards
- Provide case management services to children and families
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- 2 years of experience working with children and families in the social services field, with at least 1 year of case management experience with child welfare
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field
- 1 year of experience with Therapeutic Foster Care and licensing
