Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Lifespace Communities. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing medication management services under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and administer medications to residents according to physician orders and under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Record and document all medication, treatment, and care provided to residents.
  • Take and record vital signs of residents.
  • Prepare monthly summaries and take off physician orders as needed.
  • Respond to resident calls and requests for assistance with activities of daily living.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some directly related work experience preferred.
  • Must have and maintain medication aide licensure per state requirements.
