Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Gastroenterology. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the direction of a provider.
  • Interview patients, take vital signs, and record information on patient charts.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones and maintaining records.
  • Assist with ordering and stocking of supplies and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Document provider encounters, including diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: National Healthcareer Association, American Medical Certification, National Association for Health Professionals, National Center for Competency Testing, American Association of Medical Assistants, or American Medical Technologists.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
