Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Medical Sonographer to join our team at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Contribute to a safe and quality-focused environment at the point of care
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary
  • Analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
