About the Role: We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to enhance our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic ultrasound examinations that assist in identifying and managing medical conditions. This role necessitates a blend of technical proficiency, patient interaction skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ultrasound machinery to generate and document images of patients' internal organs and structures.
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and clarify the procedure.
  • Evaluate images for quality and ensure comprehensive coverage of targeted areas.
  • Identify normal and abnormal findings and relay results to physicians.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedural logs.
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is well-maintained and calibrated.
  • Follow safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques (abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
