Position Details DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHER / ULTRASOUND IMAGING SPECIALIST *FULL-TIME, DAY SHIFT, 40 HOURS/WEEK* Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize ultrasound machinery to capture and document images of patients' internal anatomy and structures
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and clarify the procedure
  • Evaluate images for quality and ensure comprehensive coverage of targeted areas
  • Identify normal and abnormal findings and relay results to medical professionals
  • Maintain thorough patient records and procedural documentation
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly serviced and calibrated
  • Follow safety protocols and infection control measures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and methodologies
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Imaging Specialist (preferred) *New Graduates are welcome to apply*
  • Expertise in various ultrasound techniques (abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary
