- Recruit and hire hourly employees for various positions within the organization.
- Coordinate and manage hourly employee orientations and training, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Oversee HR administrative personnel activities and productivity, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist the HR Manager with staff recruiting, onboarding, and benefits, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
- Ensure accurate information is entered and maintained in the HRIS, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Assist with time and attendance system management and support payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Administer hourly benefit plans, assist with staff benefits, and communicate information to employees in a clear and concise manner.
- Coordinate Leave of Absence programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
- Assist with day-to-day safety activities, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure compliance with all company employment policies and state and federal employment laws.
- Maintain employee confidence by keeping compensation and benefits information confidential.
- Participate in special projects with the HR Manager, driving business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Good knowledge of company time and attendance and payroll systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in HR Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in HR and payroll operations.
- Good overall knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
