Job Title: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Plymouth, MN. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of munition, fuzing, and weapon system programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with team members to plan and execute specialty engineering tasks from various domains, including Systems Safety, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Product Cybersecurity, Integrated Logistics Support, Product Support, Human Factors, and Unit Production Cost Modeling.
  • Perform detailed Specialty Engineering analyses in close collaboration with design engineering throughout weapon system development programs.
  • Identify applicable standards and guidance to apply to systems and work with Systems Design Engineering team to define, track, and verify requirements that support system development objectives tied to specialty engineering domains.
  • Work with Test Engineering and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) to define processes and procedures that permit safe conduct and execution of test events and manufacturing of systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, plus 2 years of experience. Or, a master's degree plus 0 years of additional experience.
  • Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance.
  • Strong interest to work closely with engineers from various engineering disciplines, including Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Production Engineering.
  • Strong interest to learn a wide variety of skills across multiple engineering domains.
  • Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new toolsets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Department of Defense product experience.
  • Experience performing engineering analyses (e.g. Hazard Analysis, FMECA, Statistical Analysis, etc.).
  • Relevant Specialty Engineering domain experience (e.g. Safety, RAM, Cybersecurity etc.) or certifications (e.g. GSEC, ASP, etc.).

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,300 - $124,900, as well as a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
