About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Consultant to join our team at Staples, Inc. This is a high-velocity sales position that requires a strong ability to prospect and win new business customers in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit effective appointment setting skills and set a high number of appointments with decision-makers each week.
  • Utilize professional selling skills to effectively communicate Staples' value propositions, capabilities, and products to customers.
  • Discover and address the incremental and programmatic needs of customers.
  • Overcome objections and close sales by leveraging prescribed selling tools and techniques.
  • Work closely with internal partners, such as customer support and category specialists, to progress deals forward to closed-won.
  • Implement and ramp up wins, driving compliance to new account and program requirements.
  • Develop expertise in prospect industry buying processes and support product selection and standardization.
  • Bring in over $750K in revenue annually and create sticky accounts that continue to purchase from Staples.
  • Integrate feedback from prospects into sales approaches and develop new customer assortment and pricing strategies.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of successful sales experience or success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
  • 3+ years of experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM).
  • Industry knowledge, a plus.
