Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LVN Supervisor to join our Dermatology team at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dermatology clinic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of LVNs and other clinical staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and clinic operations.
  • Collaborate with the nursing manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide guidance and support to LVNs and other clinical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of experience in a dermatology clinic or related setting.
  • Graduation from an approved LVN program.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of human resources management policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of experience as a supervisor or lead in a medical practice or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of experience and training.
