The Guest Services Coordinator will act as the primary liaison at the front desk, ensuring an outstanding guest experience. This role involves being the main point of contact for guests during check-in and check-out, as well as managing all folio transactions. Additionally, the Coordinator will generate, review, and print reports to fulfill daily responsibilities. This position will also support the Marketing Face to Face team during the check-in process by providing extra attention to owners or guests needing further information or assistance with room assignments. A strong understanding of business center operations and resort Wi-Fi access is essential to create excellent first and last impressions. Other duties include managing folio postings, cash handling, key control, and addressing various guest inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all guests and deliver exceptional customer service. Enhance the overall guest experience from check-in to check-out; manage complex technical tasks such as room changes, inventory adjustments, and folio modifications as needed; create and distribute keys while ensuring the safety and security of all guests.
  • Ensure that every interaction surpasses the expectations of our guests. Address all guest inquiries. If unable to provide an expert response, identify the appropriate resort personnel to assist. Recognize and initiate solutions to guest concerns with urgency and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a house cash bank, perform end-of-day reporting of receipts, and process guest checks; calculate visit costs, verify customer credit, and determine payment methods for accommodations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a resort or hotel front office setting
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to quickly learn timeshare software applications
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment necessary for the role
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and supervisors

  • Capable of completing tasks efficiently
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Professional appearance and a positive, friendly demeanor
