Position Overview


As the Bakery Operations Supervisor, you will take charge of guiding team members, overseeing department inventory, ensuring pricing accuracy, and managing various operational processes that demand a keen eye for detail.

This role is fast-paced and requires a commitment to efficiency, effectiveness, and a passion for excellence to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide proactive assistance in a friendly manner with accurate and timely service
- Make recommendations and accommodate guest requests
- Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, and minimize shrinkage and damage
- Receive and stock goods while adhering to rotation standards
- Prepare and slice a variety of specialty breads, pastries, and convenient meal solutions throughout the day
- Direct teams in the proper receiving, stocking, and merchandising of goods in line with The Fresh Market standards
- Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members both on-the-job and through The Fresh Market's internal training platform to ensure excellent guest service in a safe environment

Availability
This position requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, baking, or culinary fields
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics for effective merchandising
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be at least 18 years old
