Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

We're seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to women during the birthing process.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for monitoring patients throughout labor, assisting physicians with medical procedures, and providing immediate care to newborns.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patients throughout labor and provide emotional support
  • Assist physicians with medical procedures, such as epidurals and cesarean deliveries
  • Provide immediate care to newborns, including weighing and measuring
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • 3 years of recent acute care experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
