The Operations Project Manager will oversee the development, approval, and execution of assigned operational projects within Qdoba Restaurant Corporation. This role provides strategic direction in cross-functional project team meetings on behalf of Operations, leading the team in projects and performance to provide guidance, direction, and personnel development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project scope, success criteria, risk, and quality standards with cross-functional teams, independently determining project risks and issues, identifying options, and recommending solutions.
  • Manage and lead Operations projects through testing and implementation, from inception to launch, managing project budgets, risks, timelines, and analyzing success factors to provide recommendations to Senior Ops team.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects with operational impact to vet all aspects for operational ease and simplification, partnering with Senior Director of Restaurant Services as needed, including marketing campaigns, IT upgrades, menu and LTO rollouts, HR programs, and off-premise initiatives.
  • Support all active projects with facilities, supply chain, culinary, HR, and marketing by making recommendations and/or consulting with management on product, process, scheduling with operators, operational support needs, and required feedback.
  • Manage and support all operational systems with various maintenance, reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting, including inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Manage Stand inquiries, contact potential clients, manage project from first contact through onboarding and go live, collaborating with the marketing department on all collateral needed to optimize Stand marketing and future promotions to maximize Stand inquiries and subsequent sales.
  • Maintain system credentials, working with other departments to ensure timely access is granted and sharing final credentials with individuals within 7 days.
  • Assist with creating and updating Brand Standards and developing deployment training materials with concise and clear instruction, consistency, and operational usability.
  • Update status reports to assist Ops Field Leaders with restaurant performance metrics in specified areas.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed.
