Position Overview

The Electronics Repair Specialist will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing and Quality Assurance teams to identify and rectify product-related challenges, as well as equipment and process failures. Candidates should exhibit proficiency in troubleshooting Printed Circuit Board Assemblies down to the component level, utilizing schematics and standard electronic tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct failure analysis and fault isolation at the component level.
  • Repair and update production assemblies as necessary; document any non-conforming materials.
  • Assist in the implementation of testing equipment, fixtures, and systems into production.
  • Utilize schematics, system diagrams, and both written and verbal instructions to execute testing, troubleshooting, and other related tasks.
  • Perform component-level repairs using SMT and Through Hole technologies.
  • Develop, compose, peer review, and revise testing procedures.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Execute any additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Electronics training or experience equivalent to two years of technical trade school or military technical school (an Associate's degree is preferred). A minimum of 2 years of direct manufacturing support experience, including problem-solving and root cause analysis, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and issue tracking database tools (experience with JIRA is advantageous).

Equipment Utilized:

Utilizes standard and specialized testing or diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, signal generators, and similar apparatus; hand tools and soldering equipment; computers and software. Proficient with standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, calculators, copiers, faxes, and scanners.

Ability to work with a microscope is essential.
