Job Title: Power Electronics EMI/EMC Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics EMI/EMC Engineer to join our team at Delta Electronics (Americas) Ltd. in Research Triangle Park, NC. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing innovative and energy-efficient solutions for various applications, including EV traction inverters, wind and solar inverters, and energy storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) models and solutions for power electronics systems in automotive and IT power applications.
- Conduct electromagnetic interference (EMI) studies in simulation and analyze system performance.
- Design filters, shielding, and grounding solutions to minimize EMI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize EMI on both component and system levels.
Requirements:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on EMI/EMC.
- Experience in power electronics development for AC/DC, DC/DC, and inverter systems.
- Proficiency in EMC simulation tools and understanding of EMI/EMC standards.
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory and semiconductor device basics.
