About the Role

The Once Upon a Time Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Program Director to join our team. As a key member of our program management team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our initiatives and supporting our mission to empower novel, interdisciplinary research aimed at impacting the lives of people with cerebellar disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation and administration of all current programs and initiatives, focusing on maximum impact, continuous improvement, and timely synthesis of comprehensive scientific updates to stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with non-profit leaders, research partners, and university administrators, and assist in the vetting process for developing new partnerships and grant recipients.
  • Coordinate and facilitate collaboration amongst research partners at different sites in our multi-site research studies.
  • Oversee the organization of multiple conferences and events hosted in conjunction with our major initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a variety of communication and outreach initiatives to our interested parties.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in neuroscience or a related field, or MD with research experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Willingness to make a minimum two/three-year commitment to the position.
  • Preference for candidates with ties to Texas.

Compensation:

Compensation could reach as high as $120,000 total over a several year commitment (base and bonus combined). Benefits include the opportunity to personally direct grants to 501(c)3 organizations of your choice.
