Zollege is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team at Cedar Park Medical Assistant School.
We are a leading provider of accessible, hands-on education to students from all walks of life. Our 12-week program is designed to equip students with the skills they need to succeed as entry-level medical assistants.
As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you will combine your passion for medicine with your ability to mold and shape students to bring hands-on education to our students.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for each class by reviewing our curriculum and utilizing lab stations.
- Demonstrate medical skills and procedures, and assist students as they practice hands-on in the lab.
- Evaluate individual/group performance and make necessary adjustments to meet student learning needs.
- Enforce classroom management and ensure safety precautions are adhered to.
- Convey curriculum and pertinent skills via lecture and hands-on demonstrations.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience as a medical assistant or related employment.
- CMA, RMA, CCMA credentials (highly preferred).
- Current CPR/BLS certification (highly preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
- A passion for helping others achieve their personal goals.
- Strong communication skills.
Salary: $21-23 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Type: Part-time.
