Position Overview:
The UBA Programs Financial Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial management and budgeting processes associated with the UBA WeCare initiative. This position is pivotal in ensuring that all financial activities align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine financial processes and procedures related to grant management and financial reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with various governmental bodies and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
- Manage the financial aspects of the UBA Grants, including contracts and budgets, while monitoring application and reporting timelines.
- Conduct thorough tracking and analysis of annual revenue and expenses related to grants, providing insights for budget development.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including quarterly and yearly summaries, and proactively address any financial concerns with management.
- Facilitate the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries from external auditors.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and grant accounting principles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in interactions with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial management software such as Strata, HCM, and INFOR.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Work Environment:
This position requires occasional travel to various locations as needed. The main office is located in Tarrytown, with responsibilities extending to other areas as required.
