Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

About the Role:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in leading a team of architects to evolve the Modernized e-File infrastructure architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving infrastructure requirements, developing and maintaining infrastructure architecture artifacts and documentation, and providing direction for migrating MeF to containers and the Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and extend Modernized e-File infrastructure solution architectures.
  • Provide recommendations on architectural options and solutions for migrating MeF to containers and the Cloud.
  • Manage a team of senior infrastructure architects and coordinate team activities.
  • Provide LOE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs.
  • Recommend implementing DevSecOps practices on MeF.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Ten years of developing infrastructure architectures for large, complex programs in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Five years of experience in leading team(s) of architects and/or developers.
  • Four years of experience maintaining infrastructure requirements and traceability against business and application requirements for large, complex Java EE applications.
  • Four years of experience migrating applications to the cloud.
  • Four years of experience supporting the migration of monolithic applications to microservices.
  • Four years of experience with the Linux platform.
  • Four years of experience with server and network virtualization.
  • Four years of experience with information security for large, extremely sensitive Java applications.
  • Four years of experience with CM tools, such as IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM.
  • Three years of experience developing (V)ROM estimates in response to requests for new work.
  • Three years of experience with infrastructure products, including JBoss EAP, WebSphere Application Server, and IBM MQ.
  • Two years of experience in implementing DevSecOps on complex projects.
  • MS Office Proficiency, including Excel and Word.
  • Engineering Workflow Management (EWM).

Clearance: Must have a current IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with relational database technologies.
  • Experience with CMMI Level 3 Process Areas.
  • Experience with Agile Lean methodologies.
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Puppet/Chef/Ansible.
  • Experience with WebMethods EAIB, API Gateways, and ESB.
  • Experience with Ping Identity.
