The anticipated salary range for this position is between $159,300 and $177,000, contingent upon experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The role involves collaborating with IT and business teams to provide essential leadership in driving technology solutions. This includes evaluating the advantages of technology standards, the market availability of products, and the associated risks and benefits of introducing new technologies into Constellation Energy's computing environment. The position requires delivering high-level technical consultation to both business units and IT management.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deliver technical expertise to IT and business teams to identify and implement technology solutions and strategies that align with business objectives.
  • For architecture: Develop and design enterprise-wide architecture and strategies for the assigned domain in accordance with business strategies. For engineering: Execute engineering and design functions for software applications and infrastructure, supporting the overarching strategic IT plan.
  • Provide technological guidance to IT leadership in formulating strategic IT plans that support business initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with business and IT partners, ensuring regular communication of status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about trends and issues within the technical domain, assess new technologies or opportunities, and analyze their potential impact on business advantages.
  • Offer input to IT managers regarding the performance of IT personnel to aid in evaluations, career development, and recognition.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, typically accompanied by 8 to 10 years of diverse IT experience, with a focus on relevant disciplines or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess appropriate technical skills.
  • In-depth understanding of business unit functions and applications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of change management techniques related to new technology implementation.
  • Experience in developing economic business cases.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Strong judgment, excellent analytical skills, and consulting expertise.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of IT and business management, as well as vendors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in configuring the ServiceNow platform for various ITIL functions.
  • Ability to articulate and communicate a technology roadmap while collaborating with diverse stakeholders from IT and business.
  • Act as a liaison between Solution Architects, Business/Project Teams, and Infrastructure teams (Engineering/IT Operations).
  • Ensure that portfolio teams develop solutions in compliance with Constellation Energy's architecture governance framework, processes, and tools.
