Regional Sales Director

We're seeking an exceptional Area Sales Manager 2 to lead our sales efforts in the designated territory of OH, IN, TN, KY, WV. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, hitting targets, and ensuring the success of sales operations within their defined region. A visionary strategist, they will craft and execute sales plans that push the boundaries, driving revenue and market dominance with precision.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, as well as a solid track record of at least 3 years in progressive sales management roles, ideally in a similar industry. They will also have an unparalleled grasp of sales strategies and tactics to orchestrate sustainable business expansion, commanding communication prowess and influential leadership qualities to rally and empower the sales squad. Additionally, proficiency in CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office suite will be essential to orchestrate sales activities and dissect data like a pro.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. With extensive travel required, the Area Sales Manager 2 will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new accounts and expand existing ones within the established geographic territory/product line.
- Service and support existing Genex clients through weekly or biweekly in-person sales contacts.
- Prospect and support new clients by calling on TPAs, Insurance Companies, Self-insured employers, and Attorneys within the territory to identify areas of managed care need and demonstrate how Genex IME can meet that need.
- Attend industry conferences and events to increase business and associated revenue for Genex.
- Submit an annual Branch Plan in conjunction with the Branch Manager projecting growth revenue from existing accounts and new business revenue from prospects.
- Update account Action Strategies every six months.
- Grow and maintain a monthly pipeline based on set and measurable financial goals.
- Participate in bi-monthly pipeline conference calls with Director detailing the probability for closure of prospects at 75% or better.
- Daily completion of spreadsheet to highlight sales and account activity.
- Provide product and service presentations to existing accounts as well as new prospects.
- Focus on achieving quarterly goals for all products and services established annually.
- Strategize planning and management of sales territory with Director.
- Participate in completion and submission of RFPs.
- Attend an annual Regional Meeting usually requiring overnight travel.
Requirements:
