Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Certified Teacher to join our team at the YMCA Cape Cod Early Learning Centers. As an Early Childhood Certified Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our young children, promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement an appropriate curriculum that fosters children's development.
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the individual needs of children in the classroom.
- Conduct child assessments and provide feedback and recommendations to parents and caregivers.
- Lead by personal example, help to interpret the quality of the YMCA character values of children, staff, and families.
- Use positive and constructive methods of behavior management and ensure that all staff do the same.
- Supervise children to ensure safety and appropriate behavior and guide transitions smoothly.
- Collaborate with the co-teacher in the design of the classroom space.
Requirements:
- You are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
- You are mission-driven and committed to carrying out the mission and goals of the YMCA.
- You are a people person with good human relations skills to facilitate positive relationships with community agencies, staff, families, and program participants.
- You love working with kids and enjoy creating amazing educational experiences to help them learn and grow.
- You are at least 21 years old and meet the requirements for Department of Early Education and Care. Must have a certified card from EEC.
- First Aid and CPR certified prior to hire date preferred.
