About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled AWS cost optimization specialist to join our team at The Duckbill Group. As a cloud financial engineer, you'll work closely with our clients to help them understand and optimize their AWS spend.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with executive audiences to understand client needs and goals
  • Work directly with clients to analyze their AWS spend and identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize client AWS spend
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS news and changes to continually improve your expertise
  • Collaborate with clients to create data-driven cost management approaches
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of AWS concepts, tools, and services
  • Prior experience communicating effectively with executive audiences
  • Prior experience in AWS cost management and consultative client-facing roles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
What We Offer

We pay our cost management contractors $250 per hour, with opportunities for fixed-price engagements. As a contractor, you'll enjoy a flexible work arrangement and the chance to work with a variety of clients and projects.
