Affordable Housing Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at one of our multifamily properties. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all property systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing air filters and inspecting apartments.
- Coordinate and complete maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, and CALFHA.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure properties meet regulatory requirements.
- Communication and Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; industry certification or designation preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in residential property management.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Ability to wear a respirator and meet medical fitness requirements.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
- Proficient in using MS Office, Google Apps, and property management software.
