Alvarado/Temple is a community focused on affordable housing, featuring 66 units in Echo Park, CA. The Assistant Community Manager plays a crucial role, under the guidance of the Regional Manager, overseeing all aspects of community operations. This includes, but is not limited to, general administration, maintenance oversight, directing on-site staff, and managing resources to ensure a stable financial operation.
Future Opportunities
This position is expected to evolve into a Roving Manager role within the Los Angeles Region.

Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a comprehensive property management firm with a focus on multifamily affordable housing since 1993. We pride ourselves on our extensive experience and commitment to excellence in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Ensure resident files are maintained accurately in compliance with established management procedures and funding agency regulations.
- Process applicants and manage lease agreements in accordance with the Resident Selection Criteria.
- Foster relationships with local government entities, including HUD and TAC.
- Conduct regular inspections of maintenance work, grounds, and common areas.
- Collect rents and manage delinquent accounts effectively.
Essential Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in property management.
- Proven experience in supervising staff members.
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs.
- Experience managing periodic inspections (e.g., HUD, TCAC, and City inspections).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills.
- Detail-oriented with reliable transportation.
- Valid California driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Experience with the Yardi property management software.
- Background in working with Section 8 housing.
- Knowledge of Supportive and Fair Housing regulations.
- Understanding of 504 ADA, HUD, and Section 42 regulations.
- Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO) for Section 8.
- Specialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM) for Section 42.
- Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) Certification.
- Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) Certification.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage of $23.00.
