About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Regulatory to lead our Compliance and Regulatory teams within Legal. As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with teams across the company to build products and programs that meet global laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective compliance programs, including internal investigations and reporting, anti-bribery and anti-corruption program controls and training, and other aspects of doing business with integrity and in accordance with evolving laws and regulations.
  • Provide practical legal guidance to the business on regulatory matters, leveraging your expertise on existing and evolving regulatory frameworks, including ongoing monitoring and tracking of trends, enforcement, and public policy.
  • Design and implement compliance and regulatory strategies, policies, and procedures to drive company results while meeting legal requirements and customer expectations across all relevant sectors.
  • Collaborate with Security, Internal Audit, and the People team, as well as the business, to conduct risk assessments, develop and improve the control environment, and build and maintain customer trust.
  • Lead CLEAR's Regulatory and Compliance teams, managing and creating strong relationships internally and externally.
What We're Looking For
  • 15+ years of experience in regulatory law and compliance at a law firm or in-house.
  • Proven ability to work directly with non-lawyers to minimize and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Motivated by responsibility and autonomy to solve problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions.
  • Business communication and analytical skills, as well as a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Juris Doctor required.
