Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at My Florida Corp Defunct. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing daily technical hardware and software support for our end users and support for our District Courts of Appeal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist employees with resolving computer and software issues, including network connectivity, workstations, telephony, mobile devices, and other peripheral computer components.
  • Regularly monitor and promptly respond to help desk service requests using a ticketing system in a professional manner.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting on IT inventory.
  • Provide setup and support for audio and video equipment for conference room meetings.
  • Assist with IT services to onboard new employees.
  • Set up and deploy computers as needed.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least two years of college, pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • Two years of related work experience is required.
Competencies
  • Knowledge of and ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair end user computer hardware and peripherals, software applications, and connectivity.
  • Knowledge of modern Microsoft operating systems, Office products and desktop applications.
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft server environment and related administrative tasks.
  • Knowledge of basic network connectivity.
