Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee revenue generation, advertising, promotions, and product selection for Amazon and other e-tailer channels
- Assist the e-commerce Marketplace Manager in updating and managing product listings on e-tailer channels and marketplaces
- Ensure accurate product information and engaging content in collaboration with the e-commerce Marketplace Manager
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, potential business growth areas, and new e-tailer channels
- Analyze margins and estimate performance metrics to determine appropriate new e-tailer channels and product selection
- Utilize analytics tools to gather and interpret data related to website traffic and customer behavior
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and provide insights to enhance the overall e-commerce strategy and performance
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, IT, and finance, to ensure seamless e-commerce operations
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment based on weeks of supply
- Explore new ways to expand revenue on e-tailer channels and marketplaces
- Propose and test emerging e-commerce innovation trends
- Support the Head of Digital & Commercial Operations and the Ecommerce Marketplace Manager
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare monthly and weekly sales forecasts
- Support the Head of Digital & Commercial Operations with MYP & Ops plans
- Perform ad-hoc reporting to improve channel performance
- Conduct general analytics
Requirements:
- Minimum BA/BS degree in Marketing or Business; MBA is a plus
- 3+ years of experience selling products through Amazon Vendor or Seller Central, with familiarity in marketing and promotional tactics to increase discoverability and revenue. Experience with other e-tailers like Walmart is a plus
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations
- Technical proficiency in relevant software and tools for e-commerce analysis (graphics, Photoshop, Excel, & PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills and a clear understanding of retail math
- Experience in data analysis for e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of digital marketing and online retail trends
- Excellent communication, detail-oriented, time management, and project management skills
- Awareness of new e-commerce and digital innovations
- Prior experience managing agencies and vendors
- Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams to manage projects and achieve goals
