E-commerce & CRM Manager Job Description

As the E-commerce Manager, you will lead the strategy and growth of the e-commerce business plan to exceed annual sales targets and increase conversion and repeat visits. This role is focused on developing strategies to drive revenue and optimize the customer experience through data-driven analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop operational e-commerce strategies and execute on all initiatives, including short and long-term objectives, customer metrics, and overall performance.
  • Leverage data to identify, analyze, and report on trends and patterns, and use this data to optimize the website.
  • Partner with the marketing team on e-mail marketing strategy and calendar, while driving deployment, segmentation, and A/B testing plans.
  • Regularly analyze web analytics and business performance for opportunities to maximize digital sales and client engagement/retention.
  • Lead, manage, and partner with broader teams on tasks required to maintain the site, including promotions, site content updates, merchandising, product setup, and A/B testing, ensuring that functionality meets and exceeds company expectations.
  • Review the site daily with a customer-first mindset, reacting to current business and trends to drive conversion using Google Analytics metrics and inventory reports.
  • Evaluate issues and effectively communicate technical and non-technical solutions to peers and customers in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate and lead to ensure promotions, site enhancements, and content are properly set up, scheduled, and QA'd on site prior to launch.
  • Ensure all aspects of site merchandising are on brand, employ best practices, and hit defined KPI's.
  • Work with Digital Marketing to provide linking strategies that provide the fast path to product and conversion.
  • Communicate with Operations, Sales, and Customer Service teams with regards to site, product, and promotion updates.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive and benchmark analysis, monitor industry benchmarks, trends, and best practices.


E-commerce & CRM Manager Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in online marketing & e-commerce; beauty industry experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of online marketing, e-commerce, and CRM best practices.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4.
  • A strategic thinker and digital innovator.
  • Analytical and data-driven.
