Position Overview

ROLE: Senior Match Coordinator - Site Based Team

DEPARTMENT: Programs – Site Based

REPORTS TO: Program Manager – Site Based Match Support

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Hybrid – Remote and Office-based

COMPENSATION: $55,000-$57,500 DOE, plus comprehensive benefits including 4 weeks of vacation, 12 sick days, 2 personal days, and fully employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability coverage.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Full-time; evening and weekend availability required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Match Coordinator will play a crucial role within the Site Based Team, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position entails comprehensive support for all aspects of the Site Based Program, including cross-training staff on best practices and processes for match support, data management, and event planning. The Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Program Manager to fulfill contractual obligations and conduct quality assurance activities. This role also involves leading group activities and providing direct support to volunteers and youth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Program Manager and Site Based Team to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate staff development and lead quality assurance initiatives.
  • Oversee the annual planning process, engaging with partner sites and coordinating logistics for activities.
  • Assess training needs for match participants to ensure positive experiences for both youth and volunteers.
  • Monitor and evaluate youth outcomes and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Coordinate training sessions for new staff and develop training materials.
  • Ensure adherence to youth protection and risk management policies.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with community organizations.
  • Support interdepartmental partnerships and agency events.
  • Provide constructive feedback for program improvements.
  • Model positive behaviors and encourage teamwork among staff and participants.
  • Utilize program data to meet quality and impact goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and program growth.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, education, or a related field; or an Associate's degree with relevant experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred experience in a similar role within the Site Based Team or related environment.
  • Familiarity with data management software.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability for evening and weekend work as required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Understanding of child development and family dynamics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and excellent customer service skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • 30% of time spent at partner sites engaging with staff, youth, and volunteers.
  • Routine office environment for administrative tasks.
  • Frequent travel required.
  • Physical demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Noise level: Generally moderate.
  • Desk time: Approximately 50% of work involves computer and phone communication.
