About the Role

As a Lead Relationship Banker at Truliant Federal Credit Union, you will play a key role in serving the financial needs of our member-owners accurately and efficiently, while developing a strong rapport with them to support the Credit Union's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members with their financial needs, including processing transactions, lending, and account maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members to understand their financial goals and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the team when the Manager is not available.
  • Ensure all branch operations are carried out in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent member service.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality when handling member accounts.
  • Adhere to all Credit Union and security policies and procedures.
  • Perform all teller transactions as requested and balance CDMs, TCRs, ATMs, and vault.
  • Provide information on all deposit and loan products to members.
  • Manage loan and deposit pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and cultivates leads into successes.
  • Understand IRA process and products offered, and open and maintain IRA accounts.
  • Makes outbound guidance calls to members.
  • Represents the Credit Union by visiting business partners and other Credit Union functions.
  • Executes the Branch's plan to ensure achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Researches and resolves members' account issues and maintains integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling difficult situations.
  • Assists Management to ensure all Branch cash audits are carried out in an efficient, timely, and accurate fashion.
  • Ensures team members adhere to all Credit Union and security policies and procedures.
  • Schedules operations to ensure sufficient staff coverage is available during service hours.
  • Balances and audits ATM, Vault, Cash Dispensing Machine(s), and Transaction Currency Recycler(s) according to Credit Union policy.
  • Sets clear objectives, behaviors, and actions for each employee and monitors progress and tracks results.
  • Assists Manager in reviewing performance standards and expectations of team members.
  • Responds to security and audit findings and monitors operations to ensure compliance.
  • Actively participates in interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • College Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5+ years related experience in the retail industry or financial services required.
  • Previous sales experience required.
  • Previous lending experience required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
