CJ Pony Parts, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Automotive Parts Sales Specialist to enhance our customer service team. The successful applicant will play a key role in assisting clients in our showroom, addressing inquiries, and processing orders both in-person and via phone. A strong background in automotive knowledge and familiarity with our products and services will be essential in providing exceptional customer support. This role is vital to ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing their automotive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist customers in the showroom with their automotive parts selections and purchases.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product details, availability, and compatibility.
  • Efficiently process orders, returns, and exchanges at the parts counter.
  • Support the call center operations by actively managing incoming sales calls.
  • Handle phone inquiries for the call center, offering expert guidance and resolving customer issues.
  • Manage work tickets by tracking, updating, and closing them in a timely manner.
  • Engage with customers through live chat to provide immediate assistance and answer questions.
  • Ensure the showroom and parts counter area is clean and well-organized.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about product knowledge, new releases, and industry developments.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking and conducting regular inventory checks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED. Additional education in automotive technology or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience: At least one year of relevant experience in a call center is preferred. Experience in an automotive retail setting is also preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficient in calculating figures such as invoice quantities and unit prices. Capable of managing upset customers with composure. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in handling phone calls, work tickets, and live chat in a customer service environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft products and ERP/CRM systems.
