About the Role

This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and repair, with experience in unit or intermediate level structural repairs and modifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and engineering data to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures and functional components, including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of aircraft experience in unit or intermediate level structural repairs and modifications
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, engineering drawings, technical manuals, and technical orders
  • Flexible to work extended/multiple shifts and travel as required to meet customer mission needs
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Desired skills include H-47 experience, documented military/DOD service school or civilian/FAA equivalent training, current and active secret level security clearance, depot level maintenance repair experience, and ability to wear half-face respirator
