Job Title: Aviation Operations Manager

Are you a highly skilled and experienced aviation professional looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Operations Manager to join our team at M1 Support Services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aviation Operations Manager to lead our flight operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing flight operations to meet Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements. This includes managing flight schedules, coordinating with aviation personnel, and ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and direct flight operations to meet PWS requirements
  • Manage flight schedules and coordinate with aviation personnel
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 750 flight hours as a Flight Mechanic or Flight Engineer
  • Graduate of the applicable Flight Instructor authorized course of instruction or have passed an equivalency evaluation
  • Valid and current FAA Medical Certificate Class III for Flight Mechanic and Class II for Flight Engineer
  • Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS
  • Competent computer skills and excellent prioritization skills
  • Thorough knowledge of quality systems, tools, and regulations for the aviation industry
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
