Main Responsibilities

As a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and identifying defective or broken parts on vehicles, as well as making repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling, and mechanical systems. You will also perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment, maintain records relating to maintenance, and drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.

Key Accountabilities
  • Inspect and repair vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Perform quality control checks on refueling equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment by following local health, safety, and security policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
  • Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Must pass a background check and obtain a Custom seal
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals
  • Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
