Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our production operations team at BestPack. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Develop and maintain production schedules for machine orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.
    • Prioritize and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate urgent requests and changes in demand.
  • Departmental Liaison:
    • Coordinate and schedule requests from sales, engineering, and other departments.
    • Work closely with engineering to ensure order specifications and requirements are met.
    • Communicate effectively with the customer support team to address any issues or concerns related to orders.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to communicate issues and updates regarding orders.
    • Ensure clear and consistent communication across all departments involved in the production process.
  • Candidate Requirements:
    • Proven experience in production management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficient in using production management software and tools.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement processes and performance metrics.
    • Ability to read Electrical schematics.

Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
