Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Trilogy Health Services. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications. Responsibilities
  • Safely prepare, administer, and document all medications used in the health campus.
  • Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Verify that any medications brought into the health campus by a newly admitted resident are examined and identified by the attending physician or the facility pharmacy or pharmacist.
  • Follow health campus policies and procedures regarding the destroying of medications.
  • Participate in daily nursing report along with daily electronic documentation.
  • Assist residents with daily needs such as personal hygiene activities, dressing/undressing, lifting, and transporting when needed.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition and make independent decisions when warranted.
  • Work with a high-quality, collaborative team.
Requirements
  • Active and in good-standing Nurse Aide certification.
  • Active and in good-standing Medication Aide certification (QMA, KMA MA-C).
  • Every other weekend and holiday work availability.
  • At least one year's experience as a Certified Medication Aide preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
