Certified Medication Aide

As a Certified Medication Aide at Trilogy Health Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to safely prepare, administer, and document all medications used in the health campus. You will also be responsible for maintaining resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely prepare, administer, and document all medications used in the health campus.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
• Verify that any medications brought into the health campus by a newly admitted resident are examined and identified by the attending physician or the facility pharmacy or pharmacist.
• Follow health campus policies and procedures regarding the destroying of medications.
• Participate in daily nursing report along with daily electronic documentation.
• Assist residents with daily needs such as, but not limited to personal hygiene activities, dressing/undressing, lifting, and transporting when needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and make independent decisions when warranted.

Requirements:
• Active and in good-standing Nurse Aide certification.
• Active and in good-standing Medication Aide certification (QMA, KMA MA-C).
• Every other weekend and holiday work availability.
• At least one year's experience as a Certified Medication Aide preferred.
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
