Medication Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Aide to join our team at Franciscan Health Care Center. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by physicians
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
- Examine and identify medications brought into the health campus by new residents
- Contribute to a caring and compassionate environment where residents feel valued and safe
- Follow health campus policies and procedures regarding the disposal of medications
- Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide)
- Experience as a QMA in a long-term care or home care setting (preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
