Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors, register new and returning patients, schedule appointments, and collect payments for patient visits and/or account balances.
  • Manage front office activities, including updating patient records, verifying insurance eligibility, and processing billing transactions.
  • Provide general information to patients concerning functions of HICHC, answer phones, and connect callers to the appropriate offices or staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient encounters, missed appointments, and late arrivals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
  • Assist with daily operations, including preparing bank deposits, reconciling cash drawers, and running reports for the Finance Department.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, plus six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Basic knowledge of general office procedures, including filing, copying, and faxing.
  • The ability to use a computer to enter patient data, retrieve information, and generate reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Salary and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $43,000 - $53,000 per annum, depending on experience.
