Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Specialist to join our team at Atlantic General Hospital Corporation. As a Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for registering patients for the Emergency department area, capturing all required data, and verifying and documenting information as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration of patients for the Emergency department area
  • Capturing all required data, including medical history and insurance information
  • Verification and documentation of patient information
  • Ensuring accurate and timely registration of patients

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Terminology knowledge and ICD-10 coding preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Previous experience in healthcare billing, collection, or registration preferred
