Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Director to lead our Internal Audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, overseeing, and executing audit plans in accordance with Internal Audit standards, relevant government statutes, and Company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Internal Audit team in the execution of audit plans, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of financial services, including technology, products, and organizational activities.
  • Apply industry knowledge and expertise to foster effective relationships with business unit management and develop the audit team.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the team, applying advanced competencies in technical skills, logical reasoning, and overall audit proficiency.
  • Guide the audit team through engagement, ensuring timely and high-quality audit reports and findings, and facilitating issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (4-year Accredited College).
  • Relevant financial services industry knowledge (Operations, Trust, Enterprise Risk Management, Treasury/Asset Liability Management, Investments, Regulatory Compliance).
  • 8+ years related auditing experience.
  • Highly proficient in auditing/examination techniques.
  • Experience with Sarbanes Oxley compliance and testing.
  • Ability to interact with business leaders, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion.
  • Required competency with Microsoft Office Suite and internal audit applications such as Audit Board.
