Job Title: Regional Business Development Officer About the Role: At Bank of America, we are committed to helping our clients achieve their financial goals through responsible growth. As a Regional Business Development Officer, you will play a critical role in identifying and developing new client relationships in your assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on researching and contacting new prospects to successfully solicit new business opportunities and supplementing direct calling on prospects by developing referrals from business intermediaries. Key Responsibilities: * Develop new business opportunities through direct calling and networking efforts * Prospect new clients and centers of influence to expand our client base * Build relationships with new and existing clients, centers of influence, and associates to drive business growth * Design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve assigned production goals * Communicate, negotiate, and lead development of complex credit solutions Requirements: * 2+ years of sales experience with a good working knowledge of credit and lending issues * Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations * Self-motivated and result-oriented with a strong desire to create business working with referral sources Preferred Qualifications: * Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics * Formal credit/lending training and strong credit skills * Proven business acumen by working with lending products and small businesses to provide solutions and services to fit their financial needs Work Environment: This role is based in the United States and requires a 1st shift schedule with 40 hours per week.
