Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Applicator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As an Agricultural Applicator, you will be responsible for applying herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, operating equipment, and performing maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply pesticides, fertilizers, and chemicals to crops
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including applicators and tractors
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on application equipment
  • Keep accurate records of applied acres and equipment maintenance
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain pesticide applicator license
  • Attend equipment workshops and training sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leader
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience operating large equipment required
  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle
  • Class A or B CDL required
  • Pass a drug test and background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Agricultural background
  • Basic knowledge of ag pesticides
  • Excellent driving record
  • Ability to read field maps and use tractor-mounted field computers
Work Environment

The work environment for this position is a typical warehouse and distribution setting, with moderate to loud noise levels and occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemical hazards.

This position requires regular use of hands, talking, hearing, walking, standing, and sitting, with occasional lifting or moving of up to 100 pounds.
