We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our team in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Georgia's Tifton Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and extension activities in peanut and pecan pathology, with a focus on improving crop yields and reducing losses.

Responsibilities- Conduct research and extension activities in peanut and pecan pathology
- Develop and implement effective strategies for improving crop yields and reducing losses
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to advance the field of plant pathology
- Teach and mentor students in the Department of Plant Pathology
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology or a related field, with a strong background in research and extension. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
