We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Poultry Science at the University of Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and extension activities related to poultry science.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in poultry science
- Conduct research in poultry science and publish research findings in reputable journals
- Develop and implement extension programs to promote poultry science and improve poultry production in the state
- Collaborate with other faculty members and industry partners to advance poultry science
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in poultry science or a related field, a strong research and teaching background, and experience in extension activities. The candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
